In 2016, LACH-NER s.r.o. was approved for funding for the project:
Technology of oxidative photocyclization leading to [n]phenacaine’s

This project focuses on the development of equipment for photocyclization reactions producing various carbo- and hetero[n]phenacaine derivatives. The apparatus is designed for flow operation to enable scale-up production. The project also includes optimization of reaction conditions for precursor synthesis.
Lower production costs will enable broad application in molecular functional layers (OFET, OLED, DSSC, OPV) and specialty semiconducting polymers. Lach-Ner is currently the only company worldwide offering their isomeric forms – helicenes. Expanding this product line further strengthens its competitive advantage and global market position.
